Hab door hinges

My first van (an Elddis) had the screen door built in to the Hab door. I had a similar problem and it was caused by the screen door seizing up because it was rarely used. It buggered the bottom of the 3 hinges when it seized.

Just as an additional bit of info.I've got 3 hinges.Removing the bottom hinge one can then lift the door off completely, with a bit of back and forth swivelling .I used a strip of emery on the pins and some lubricant and thin rag poked down the pinholes.Moves freely now.
Checked mine and I can’t do that, the inner door is on the second plate top and bottom and you can’t take one off then lift door as they go opposite :(

My van hinges were causing a real problem. Even on a hill in the wind, our door stayed put wherever I put it. Same with locker hinges. So I sprayed them with GT85. The results were almost instant, after moving the hinges a few times. I now spray them once a month to keep them mobile.
That doesn’t work on mine, used loads of the stuff on the hinges :(

Sorry if this is not helpful, but it can depend on the door the van uses! Our hab door began to make a graunching noise last winter in Portugal, then refused to move at all while it was half closed! I thought it was the strange Carthago double hinges and tried every lubricant we had to hand, with no joy. It turned out to be the pretend gas strut that limits the travel of the door. Took that off, pulled it as far as it would go while twisting with pliers, cleaned and lubricated the piston, and problem was solved.
