A few more photos mainly from Michelles camera this time and the interior on her walk mainly around the south eastern end of the island. One from the back of the van last night with Pladda Lighthouse and a passing huge cruise ship.

There seems to be an ever increasing amount of motorhomes here. When we rode down the east coast tonight they were everywhere. The spot we are in now at Kildonan though is blink and you will miss it. Not one of the best but only room for one van. Or so you would think. It didn't stop a Hymer this morning pulling over and seeing if he could fit on! He would literally have been across my back window and probably half on the road. I've parked the bike there now. :ROFLMAO:

I think it was usually about two weeks before they turned up last time but there were literally hundreds around the island. There have been a few sightings and someone on another MH forum spotted a small pod two nights ago on the west coast. So they are here but in small numbers I think. They were dancing outside of the Coop in Lamlash in 2023! No, Im not kidding either. Well they were in the water obviously. :D

So back on the west coast at Dougaire / Machrie bay. I was a little disappointed as I couldn't get my favourite spot. I bet its all these blooming photos I've been posting! GO AWAY! :ROFLMAO:

Anyway Michelle went off for a walk and they blooming moved (The motorhome in "MY" spot). I broke the cardinal rule of not moving the van before her indoors has put everything away and you have never seen a motorhome move and lever itself into "the" spot so fast. :LOL:

However I am still not happy as there is an even better spot I've been fancying on its own about 200 yards up the road and someone was in it. They moved and bloody hell if some inconsiderate feckin Picknickers in a car haven't gone on it!!! WTF is that about? Ill wait em out though. One of them will need a toilet sooner or later.
