i recently gave up my hgv licence
i could not be botherd with the hastle of more medicals and i would have had to have all sorts of letters from doctors to say i could drive with a pacemaker
i duly sent my licence back with the revoking forms all filled in
only to have my full licence returned valid for a further period
ile use it if i need to it says i can
one strange thought i can drive a motorhome of 3.5 tons for as many hours as i want but to drive a motor of say 4 tons i have to have a medical and am limited to what i do
