Front axle whine

Many years ago I bought a Subaru pickup that needed bearings for all four wheels that had inner and outer bearings
Subaru wanted £55 per bearing £440 + vat in total.
I took them to a local bearing supplier they supplied them all for £20 + vat

Mercury outboards wanted £115 for crank bearings for a wee tiny 2.3hp engines, they did have a outer pin to stop slipping in the cases, but a bag of 10 without the pin inbearing shop was about £20, sorted with locktite.
