Fridge woes.

I love shopping in little village shops, outside of emergency stuff, I rarely stock up for more than a few days, unless I know I'm gonna be in same place for a few days. If I run out, I'll just drive to shops :ROFLMAO:
Only place I've never seen shops for a couple of days is going over the dunes to Ubari.

In the Highlands you do get the odd village shops, but a lot of what they sell is quite basic, you do see Tesco etc delivery vans everywhere.

Bleeding fridge RM8360L is acting up now it's always been a cow to start, piezo igniter, but now it won't play I normally get a wuff as it ignites, but nothing now I might get the conversion kit to a battery igniter.

Anyone done that?
Have you checked the battery

My electric 230v through a smart inverter will easy run almost 24 hrs on a 90 amp battery when tested on the bench.
In van 2 90 amp batts and never a problem.
But Kev has an absorbtion fridge not a mains fridge like you. You're comparing apples to oranges.
thing is will it work on 12v if he is stuck
The only time you can realistically use an absorbtion fridge on electric is whilst driving.

Those old fridges went out with the titanic.

That's not what we're talking about though Trev is it? We're addressing your claim that Kev could use his fridge on leccy and he can't mate.
As always it's Horses for courses, they serve a purpose. I have one and have considered the options as much as anyone and all things considered Im not looking to change it any time soon.
For anyone off grid camping during the winter months a gas fridge is a serious contender, some would say a necessity. Titanic tech rules sometimes.

Ours works fine on 230v Merlin, they all have done in the past whenever I've plugged the van in, I just can't be arsed usually, and up til this time it's been 100% on gas once lit.
