It was a few years but I looked up a load of data sheets of various cameras. It took a while to find them. All of them had an accuracy disclaimer, can't remember what it was, could have been 5%, could have been 10%. When I checked at the time, I'm sure it was Home Office rules, but the Police have to go with the data sheet.

It's not the cameras I worry about. It's the big ugly Gendarme hiding behind a tree with a camera on a Route National, who stops you to demand money.
