Fort William day parking

I dread to think what Fort Bill would do without the Scottish Six Day Trial and the Mountain Bike World Cup.

True, that brings in lots of tourists and are good for the town.
The mountain biking has been a great diversity for the ski resort which now also has its own hydro power.
Many industries here, mostly fish farming, aluminium and forestery related.
There’s also a huge increase in seasonal workers to cater for the tourists too.

reasonable and plenty parking spaces.

Behind Morrisons are dedicated MH spaces, if these are full there are acres of parking spaces opposite, all these are fully tarmaced.

We have always found the parking charges reasonable (£3 for 3 hours ?) .

If you want free parking drive to Neptune's Staircase and catch the bus - it will cost more than the parking fee though.

The pies are in Aviemore . Not free [I know , puts a lot of people off] but exceptional

Exceptional they were too Allan!

As were the pork and blackpudding sausage rolls. I've brought several of each back home with me

I'm indebted to you sir!
