A far better idea is use 3" insulation foam for 3/4 pipe split along a 12" piece and tape to your ladder a lot cheaper too

Thats what I use 22mm pipe insulation cut to fit the last 18 inches of ladder.

I really don't want to picture that! Somehow it doesn't have the same appeal as the 'Cool Hand Luke' car washing scene!

I put a pallet on the forklift at my unit, get a mop and bucket and then send Julie up there!

I use our forklift to tip the hovel on it's side. Cleaning the roof Pah easy

We have a section of loft ladder hinged in the middle, top has a padded piece of mdf on pivots. Folds to fit in the boot, use it to reach the important little places, tie the boats down etc.
