Am I right in thinking if I pop the plastic head off in the picture I can just unscrew the armrest off or is there more to it than that ?

I use mine all the time, but they do take a lot of width between the seats.

Once I found out what a torx screw was I found a man that had the some arms now removed the GD now fits through the gap.
