Fiat Ducati armrests

Am I right in thinking if I pop the plastic head off in the picture I can just unscrew the armrest off or is there more to it than that ?

Yes my Grande Derrière is the problem.

They are torx screws Annie not ordinary bolts. I have mine off at the moment.

Once I found out what a torx screw was I found a man that had the some arms now removed the GD now fits through the gap.
