The Silver Screen brand have a velcro loop which goes around the wing mirror pillar. Undoing that bit would let you open the cab doors I'm sure. The blind itself is still attached to the door via a pocket which slips over the top corner edge.

Unhook the Velcro strap under the Mirror if necessary, and then ease the door open gently to reach up to the opening top corner and flick the internal triangle of material clear of the door. Reverse the process to refit. The usual f-word expletive when you realise that you've got to go through thi faff is optional ...

Would one of those rollup vacuum bags reduce the size of the screencover? We do use ours ( polar) all year round but it fits under one of the seats easily.

My door opened with the silver screen on probably enough for me to get in and out but it wasn't satisfactory as you suggest, so I'd revert to Steve's suggestion about slipping off the pocket that is on the door to edge.

I agree with you and Steve, it takes seconds so no big deal.
