Hi
I have been trying to obtain a toll badge through Ulys in France but it seems that they now take a 240€ deposit which is returned at the end of the contract!!!
They never used to do this.
Has anyone come up against this or maybe can point me in the direction of another supplier?
Thanks

Maybe, but such a nuisance to reach for the slots for the tickets and cards.
Although I am LHD my wife often has to get out and go to the machine!!

Have a look at Tolltickets.De, we used them for Scandi toll tag and I think they do most countries toll tags.

This is the badge that gets you through toll booths without having to stop and pay.
Nothing to do with Swiss or Austrian badges if that’s what you mean.

Hi.
Thanks for the info. I have applied for ATMB tag.
I assume this only works in France?

Oh OK Telepeage system, I've got the Fulli.com one france + other country options if needed

This year trip we had the tags setup for France and Spain, what a breath of fresh air compared to our usual pay by CC.

Is there a big difference in cost and/or ease of use of the various tags available? I'm thinking of using one on our next trip through France and possibly into Spain, and was looking at Bip&Go

There's not a huge difference between Bip, Fulli and Emovis cost wise, look out for offers, and some bundles for various countries, eg France, Spain and Italy aren't offered by all if them. Emovis have a UK branch, the other two don't as far as I know. We've used Emovis and Fulli with no issues.

The toll cost is the same. You just pay a small monthly fee if you use it. 1.60-2€ depending on the company.

I have used both ATMB and now Bip and go. The latter is good for France, Spain, Portugal and Italy, whereas ATMB was France only.
The only cost difference between tag and no tag is the tag requires a refundable deposit of €20 (I think) and has a standing charge for each month that the tag is used ( typically €1.70 ).
Worth it in my view for ease of use and contrary to one contributors view, you usually don't even have to stop, just slowly approach the specific lanes. However this year, one booth did not recognise our tag for some reason and caused a hold up until we got a debit card from my wallet.
