Eu roaming sim for data

Seems to be a good fit for me .
Probably have Vodafone begging me to stay .
Was sold 250gb while roaming by this shower. Used 50gb, All gone “Oh, we don’t have a product with 250gb.”
Tell any lie for a sale. Stuck with them for the 24 months contract. Even getting away from them was difficult.
With EE now, I’ve taken screenshots of the conversation I had with the salesperson, in case there’s a problem this time.

Don't know how good or not as I don't leave the UK but there was a bit on a motorhome mat podcast I watched yesterday about ID mobile. They have negotiated a new deal with a slightly different name to before but still ID in the name. May be worth one of you wanderers having a look and see if its any use

Going away in 2/3 weeks . Vodafone contract expired. Looking at Tesco deals . Unlimited data , 24 months, £20 pm fixed , no roaming charges until 2026 .
Best deal I can see . Am I missing something?
I got this deal in December Black Friday deal for £17.50, we have just been in Europe for a month, and it has worked superb, we have watched tv through a fire stick, we also had two I pads and a laptop connected to it too

I take it you didn't have a problem with changeover ? Not saying my experience was [is] typical but it has been exceptionally bad

I'm very happy with the Reglu 100gb sim, €11.80. even though my home data has renewed we're both on the Reglu hotspot.

Came across this today, seems to have some potential. I would be interested to hear if anyone has or is using it. The smart SIM, not the classic.

You cannot use it for browsing or streaming. Just essential apps like google Maps, Whatsapp etc if you look at the FAQ.

There are a few providers that use all the main UK networks but their data usage is very restrictive or ludicrously expensive.

Hi
I have cheap deal with Lebara, 30gb roaming for £1month for 6 months then £7 month
Some proviso about being charged if using more roaming time in Europe than in UK over 90 days.
Will have to use in UK without WiFi to balance use I think

Had good service throughout Baltic while on cruise
Offered always changing !

Tesco still pulling my chain . Be a week tomorrow I started this process .
Have been assured it will be fixed by noon . Think that is the 4th time I have been assured .

No sim required for OSM android maps and satnav, no google spyware involved.

Not sure if you have got this sorted yet or not – but have you looked into getting a secondary eSIM? This is like a second SIM card, but it’s just a piece of code that sits on your phone. You need to be reasonably confident with your network settings, but you can then effectively have two SIM cards on the phone and you can select what you use them for. So for example you can use the physical Sim for phone calls only and the eSIM for data. I have used this when travelling to India when I switch off my physical SIM altogether and only use an eSIM. It’s much much cheaper. I went with a company called Maya mobile, but there are many other others.

PS I should’ve said that you also need to read the instructions of how to set it up very carefully. I don’t recommend this approach if you are a technophobe, unless you have a teenager to set it up for you!
