EU Pet Passports no longer valid for UK residents

Do the eu vets know about this as the ones I've talked to don't know anything about a AHC :D
I don't know - I'd imagine there isn't a huge demand for them. So possibly vets neat ports will be more aware than vets in other places.

There's an equivalent document that can be issued by EU vets - the GBHC (Health Certificate).
Where can that be found? I've found Certificate GBHC640, but that's a model health certificate for the commercial importation of dogs, cats and ferrets, so not applicable to pets.

Defra/uk has now updated their update.
Wording now says you can also use a valid passport ( i guess issued in eu)

I’m waiting for an answer back from my contact in eurotunnel what will happen if a UK resident tries to use a valid EU pet passport. By valid I mean one issued in Europe and where the relevant health details are input by a European vet, and kept well away from any of the stealers over here. Clearly the Defra (no more they are now APHA) wording is still very clouded. I hate these petty bureaucrats we have installed in all aspects of modern life.

Still no answer yet from my contact at Eurotunnel, but this attached screenshot is an answer to a question I have asked just 5 minutes ago.

There's so much conflicting information, what an absolute mess.
An absolute fuster-cluck. What’s to prevent them from changing the rules the day before you set off to catch the train or ferry? I really hate our parliament - regardless of what colour flags they fly, they’re all incompetent and look after themselves and not the people.

Sorry, I got that slightly wrong - the GBHC is issued by an Official Vet in the UK and just endorsed by an EU vet in the 10 days before returning to UK. I'll ask the mods to edit my earlier post.
