both times I've used the Canterbury P & R, the exit barrier wouldn't lift up.....
had to unbolt the damned thing, ...exit,... then rebolt it.
not much fun, as I only have the use of my right arm.
wont be trying 3rd time lucky....
that White Horse layby sounds good to me, as I only use the tunnel.

Trying to work out why on two occasions both barriers failed to work. You are aware that once you have paid you have a short time to leave and you may have just taken to long? Last time I was there I saw a group of four leave motor home area, drive down to office, pay charge and the all rush out, which is totally unnecessary.
Just a thought.

it was quite a few years ago......there was only one exit.
