Without checking, I think that you'll find that the basic package doesn't include international calls (including calls to UK mobiles that just happen to be in France). As the data was presumably working, the SIM clearly didn't require reactivation; the single-use 16-digit reactivation code (which can be used by calling a freephone voice server) is clearly printed on the TICKET D'OUVERTURE DE LIGNE that you should have received on purchase (along with various other bits of paper). The SIM carrier that you binned bears the 14-digit SIM identification number that you were being asked for as well as the PUK which can be handy to have in the event of issues.Julian @yeoblade has just kindly called me from the UK on his French sim to my French number and it worked. I could also call him back. I can now call my own phone from Michelles Reglu phone / sim and vice versa and it works. Its bizarre but I did restart my phone this morning and I think I might have messed up the number yesterday calling from Michelles phone but at least we now have both our French numbers stored in each others phones and they work. Thanks Julian.
However I Can't dial either of our UK mobile numbers from the French sim which is not a problem really. We still have our UK Talkmobile numbers active in the same phones.
Still get a technical error trying to activate the Reglo sim on the app though but I guess it doesnt matter for now at least. Ill cross that bridge when I come to it in 29 days time.
