To be honest a quote is a quote not just an estimate.

To be honest I have no issues with paying for a job done right, at the going rate.
The bonnet catch did not have "water damage" (I have been told) whatever that means, when the vehicle was left with them.
The photos in the thread were taken just before I drove the van to Barnsley, and the catch looks ok.

There is always a catch, make sure you dont get snagged with one.:scared::lol-053:

Pick up the van later today...
Total cost £290
Yet to see the job though.. apparently having problems bleeding the system.

All sorted, have got the van back, job done.
All is OK, as it turns out the bonnet catch they were on about was only an alarm switch, and the cable had fell off the end of it :)
Total cost turned out to be £298 plus some pennies.
Mechanics found that access was infuriating (we know this).
I am happy with what they have done, and what I have been charged, and thankful to have the van back and running.

The old radiator was in a bit of a state, it obviously had previous leaks but small ones, both side of the front of the radiator was multicoloured.
