Dodgy gearbox?

Was the super snipe not the Humber ,I had a 1725 gt hunter with overdrive in 4 th and5th if I remember right and it had twin strombergs on it and went really well
Also dolomite sprint it was a flyer as well trev

Seem to remember some MGbs had them or am I dreaming again

Trev my big bruv had a sport imp thingy but in the bad weather and high winds going over the forth road bridge to Fife where he stayed we put a few bags of cement to hold the baha doon

I used to see that all the time, all nonsence mind you, let front tyres down to 20psi and drive then hard slidding round corners with the tail out, my tunned ones did the ton.

Yes indeed. I had the 2.5 PI and the gearbox/overdrive was fantastic, I loved that car.
