Mines a 2Kw Sterling pure sine wave, runs telly, sky box, microwave, hair dryer, hair straighteners, laptop, tablet, phones ect. I use while driving or parked, seems to work fine.
I have a 1200 watt modified inverter, works mint TV, sat box, game console, laptop, 4 phone chargers, 700 watt microwave 700 watt toaster, microwave and toaster tesco cheapie, microwave none digital timer, but have always had van on tick over when using 700 watts+ going to test with van off to see if any difference
It has a hole in it, mainly used for watching polo, no good for water sports thoughI`m curious, can you tell me what a mint TV is,

Ooh er, I don't think I have one..... but then I don't have a : toaster, microwave, hairdryer, tv, electric radio, laptop etc.

Our last van, which in a previous life was a radio van, came with a small invertor, went with the van and haven't bothered buying a new one. The only item we need mains for is gf's camera battery which if we needed to would mean being on EHU once a month.
