Modified Sine Wave 300 watt

We have a 300w inverter connected to the bus battery and a 300w connected to the charge controller the only thing we use it for is to charge a mobility scooter through a 5amp or 8amp 24v charger

I have had this inverter for 6 years moved between 4 vans. It is currently fitted to our latest a Rapido Van 66 2015. It is invaluable. We bought it first so that my wife could use her 240 volt hairdryer. We then added a 240 volt tv which is much cheaper than a 12v alternative. We have also added a microwave in the past, but removed this because it tanned the battery and used up too much space. Over the years we have added two 120 amh batteries and a solar panel into the equation making us totally self-sufficient. We very rarely use campsites and have travelled all over Europe with this combination over the last six years.
From this and other posts the only real essential [apart from a REAL essential like a mobility scooter] is a hairdryer ? Kind of excludes me ! I do miss the electric toothbrush but I'll survive .

12V Inverters in France

I concur again Sir. Bought one from Mr Brickolage in August, when olde 150W packed up in the heat. The new one was 300W and less than 50 Euro.

We use it to power the TV, charge computers and tablets, also phones. A very useful addition to the vehicle.

seems there plenty out there. How have you wired them up so they can be used when travelling. (slow cooker ides sound's great). I don't want to use my cigarette lighter.
I have 2 leisure batteries and a solar panel

It has a hole in it, mainly used for watching polo, no good for water sports though

We burst out laughing, you should not be allowed out this late without supervision.:lol-061::lol-061::lol-061::lol-061::lol-061:

Made our day, Thanks and cheers:cheers::cheers::cheers:

I have a mod sine 2000w fitted and wired in to the 240v system. Used on aires, stopovers etc for charging cameras, tablets and phones. Also used with electric kettle, toaster and TV.
