I have a 150W inverter used to charge those items I cannot get a 12v charger for.
3000 w modified sine, wired in, used for hair drier. Originally fitted to include microwave which it runs but never used
150 w modified sine wired in. Used for tv and chargers for phones, laptop, tablets etc
In addition two, 150w modified sine with cigarette type plugs used to power tablet when driving. IPad mini used for SatNav which drains battery.
Have yet to have any device that needs "pure sine" which I consider is just sales hype. (Having an electrical background I do understand the differences)
Electric toothbrushes don't work with modified sine wave, it doesn't just not work it blows the charger, once you have tried it doesn't work any more even on mains electric, Tassimo and a few other coffee machines don't work on modified sine wave but it doesn't damage themHave yet to have any device that needs "pure sine" which I consider is just sales hype.
