Spot on Pioneer, everybody must make their own minds up and take their own chances, but better safe than sorry.
I also know some one that firmly believes that they were gassed and they had two very large dogs aboard at the time and I have no reason to disbelieve their story.
Like Derek, I also trucked around Internationally and I heard many stories, maybe some were real stories, we will never know:confused:
But one thing that I am very sure of, is that so called experts are very often very wrong experts.:D
Only time will tell:confused:
Just take care:)

Indeed, If spending a few quid it gives people peace of mind, then nay problem.

In summary, then...

Am I correct in thinking then, in summary, we're talking of three alarms: smoke, carbon monoxide and unburnt lpg/noxious gases? And that they should be placed at different levels: high, middle/low and low (respectively)?

Any conclusive ideas on where to buy or the cost of each of them?

I'm just checking because I've had the same conversation here at work (actually about gas etc on board a boat) and it would be good to know I'm right before I pontificate any further!!

Fiftysomething (and should know better!!)
