Colour Restorer for black plastic trim, Help!

Rattle cans !! I used Plasticote primer followed by two coats of their satin black and two years + on it's still good

PS. Where did you get the little cab steps from?

I made them David it was a 20in step up into the van before I fitted then now it's a 12in step then a 8in into the footwell muchbetter for me and the Mrs n9w.it didn't help that fitted 40mm spacer to the top of my new front struts.

When I say i made them I got a local firm to bend me two u shaped 40mm tubing then I weldered the bracket on and cut some checker plate for the step

I have 2 white patches on dashboard, can only assume caused by sunlight ?

Cherry Blossom liquid shoe polish works a treat.

I use back to black from Halfords and it works a treat. Thick black liquid. I only do it once a year when I give the van a polish.

After 5-6 months every year in the Spanish sun (pre ******) the black plastic & trim on my camper has been bleached light grey!
Like Amy Winehouse I need to get it ‘Back to Black’
I tried Simoniz Back to Black but found it useless. How can a clear liquid turn grey plastic black?.
I need something like a sort of polish containing a high intensity black dye.
Anyone out there got any ideas?

I wipe on old engine oil and let dry works for me!!

Autotek Bumper Gel, get it on ebay works great brings back to black. Can recommend. Dark blue bottle on ebay.

I have a bottle of a fluid a bit like black toothpaste.
First used 6 years ago and it did the job.
Re applied last year and again a good result.
Maybe best to do every 3 or 2 years

Try Cherry Blossom shoe polish. There's a great video on YouTube. It did the job on my van and is still going strong 12 months later.

You get stuff on ebay, works a treat brings up colour and shine. Highly recommended will add pic.

Autotek Detail Ultimate Bumper Back to Black Gel.
You get on ebay around £11 highly recommended we used it on our last van and this. It's a dark blue bottle if you can't find just give me a shout.
