chasing moisture out of air in van

I catch up with these threads when I can’t sleep highly entertaining but feel a little let down that chatting about damp and nobody has mentioned a damp meter so here goes,
Damp meter!.
When you can see the dampness Annie your meter is pretty pointless. Also it appears that this was created by abnormal weather, rather than a leak in the van.

Good point Annie.
Don't listen to the others, there always comes a time in a thread when damp meters need to be mentioned, and that was perfect timing. :D

I sit corrected, I being a mere boy compared to you fossils had never heard of them, only the 6d.

Id sent you one but it would leave me short on my pension pot. 😂

Van was damp checked just a few weeks ago and apart from a bit of damp in the woodwork in the corners of the bottom of the garage its fine. I had the dinette window panelling and seals done though at that time. All good now. Seems loads better today. Will be out all day though so will see tonight!

For many years we had a silver threepenny bit which Mum put in the Christmas Pudding.

Whoever got it would swap it for an ordinary one, and the silver one went back in the drawer for another year.
It here was known as a sign of prosperity to have one in the pocket or to give to someone.

Excuse me Barry, but we're trying to have a serious conversation here if you will stop interrupting!

Went in bambi that i now just use as storage the other day after the low temps and the roof/ ceiling had water bubbles ( steam goblets ) like old bathroom get without fans, use to get ! Left door open for a few hours all good .

But as there's no heat in bambi, how's that happened ?.

My thunking was the skylight not leaked, but heated van !. With snow on outside of roof.
