Can you store lithium batteries/power stations on their side?

I think I have found a decent portable power station that will do what I want and it's currently on sale.

Problem is that the space where it would need to be stored in the camper has a height restriction and this power bank is 47mm, or 1.85in, too tall.
However, It would fit fine if laid on its side!

So my question is are you able you safely store/transport lithium power banks on their side?
It would always be taken out of storage and/or placed upright when in use for charging etc...

Many lithium batteries can be used on their side, just check the instructions.
Power banks will have cooling fans and vents that should not be obstructed and have good air flow.

Not sure which power station you're going for Marie but i can happily recommend a storage case from AliExpress

I have the EcoFlow Delta 3 1500, it fits it like a glove and and is very well padded, it also has an extra storage pouch on top and separate opening vents on both sides for the fans inlet and outlet and the ends for the screen info / power buttons and the plug sockets / charging sockets.

Gone up a bit but only £31.69 verses £69.00 for the genuine one with less storage pockets.

I fit mine in the boot of my car, I need a 200 mile extension lead for Scotland but apart from that works great
