Best pub stop overs.

Just done a stop at the half moon inn at Ironbridge. Car park a bit of a slope, but massive, next to the river, peaceful, pay £15 get a voucher you can redeem against (delicious) food and drink. Really welcoming and friendly, ironbridge has so much you could easily spend a few days here.

No need to go anywhere near they, but I will possibly next week even

Down near Durham to go to the Beamish museum tomorrow. Came across probably the best pub stopover I’ve ever been too. The Black horse you can walk to Beamish from here it has a car museum lovely pub and restaurant loads of open space.

The Head Groundsman is Paul, and he couldn't have been more helpful. Two electric hookups are already installed and working, and if other campers book they cone off spaces in advance of arrival.

The only change is that it is necessary to pay £10/person per night as a voucher but that is 100% redeemable when you pay for the meal, meaning that it is still free to camp.

There is an annual Car Show on right now, and it is packed with great cars.
