Personally I think I'm gonna go for the EcoFlow Mini although it won't be for straightening my hair! It does have a very quick recharging time (1 hour or so) and I will also be buying the solar panels to go with it.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the Anker brand.

Have you thought about gas hair straighteners ?
Lots available for a lot less than £900. e.g.

By the way ignore Pusey's comment

Ignore that idiot,

If you ignore idiots in this group you'll end up talking to yourself.

Welcome anyway.

Power stations are changing ,many have old type lithiam battery's that have recharge cycle of 500 , new models have lithiam life p 04 that have a charge cycle 3000 , I am considering ecoflow delta 2 , £1099 it will run almost anything including a microwave and would be good for home use including power cuts , youtube is awash with power station videos but a good place to learn.. check out ecoflow, bluetti etc .

Anker are a quality brand especially in the "old" power pack sector, I've got three of those, a brilliant portable speaker and bluetooth headphones plus several cigar plug in chargers, torches and have never had any problems with any of them. So I'd expect their power station to be a quality piece of kit and this is a great deal on Amazon but the Eco Flow can't be beaten when it comes to charge time

Also depends on what else you will use it for.

Just had a quick look and the GHD only uses about 150W so if just for that you would only need a relatively small powerbank to get a few uses. Have you considered a small inverter which would be a fraction of the cost?

With the EcoFlow products, they are just starting to release their second generation. In the Delta range, only the standard Delta 2 has been released. All of the River products have been replaced.

Before buying the Delta Mini, Delta Max or Delta PRO, I would wait a bit.

The reasons that this is important:

  1. The first generation has NCM 800-cycle batteries; the second generation has LFP 3000-cycle batteries.
  2. The first generation has a two-year warranty; the second generation has a five-year warranty.
Also, the original Delta is £1299 (currently on sale at £1099), and the Delta 2 is £1099. Why would you buy the older one?

Basically, if it does not have a 2 in the model name, don't buy it.

Dear Kerrycamper,
This is what usually happens on the forums here.
You ask a question.
Trev kicks straight in with a lousy Joke.
Over the next 20 posts we drift totally off topic and you start to wonder if you've asked a serious question in the first place or if you've accidentally posted it on a forum for the pi55ed 🤣.
Anyway, have you considered a decent leisure battery and an inverter? You could do that for considerably less than £900. That's what my wife uses for her GHDs and also her hair dryer (on 1/2 power)
