Availability of diesel in Europe in the coming months

Thing i cant get my head round is where the extra power is going to be found if folk charge cars at night at home, surly we would require new cables as thick as a elephants trunk running up every street, or homes with solar panels for summer charging, all this will take many years to get sorted.
If you had a decent OS and browser you could google that and get the answer. 😜
But FYI, most EV chargers take the same power as a low powered electric shower, so their not taking that much power, but if there was a problem with supply they automatically drop the charge so they don't overload your supply. People could do a lot more damage to the system if they plugged in a couple of electric fires.

Funny enough earlier today was reading what BYD chief scientist was saying about Solid state batteries, and as far as he's concerned we are not going to be seeing 'cheap' solid state batteries in cars any time soon. They can be made, but nobody has yet found a way to make them commercially viable for mainstream cars, take Toyota, for around a decade now they have been saying they are a couple of years from production, and as the years go by they push back the expected delivery.

Google is the worst browser on earth, brave vivaldi and firefox are the tops.
Ev chargers same as a electric shower, since when did anyone have a 50 kw shower, more like 5/7 kw in most cases. 😂

They're actually not saying that Trev.

They are saying that they COULD achieve these figures in future generations of the battery, certainly not in the UK by the end of this year though.
I must be reading this wrong.

The latest offerings from Vauxhall are the same price no matter which drive train.
That’s true, but the EV version at the same price only has a 44kwh battery, the given range is 189miles, but real world range is 113miles at best.
Add 10kwh and that’s £3500 more and it still lacks the real world range of other EVs

As only 4 years left before the drop of fueled cars will there be a rush to buy before the deadline by the die hards, or will the gov tax fuel so high folks wont bother.

The latest Astra has the bigger battery at the same starting price

In future they will want them, and filling station/ shoping centres will require them to, so more roads dug up all over the country, how many years of disruption will this take.

'they' might want them, but 'they' won't get them unless 'they' have very deep pockets.

Correct, garage across the road from mates house electric board wanted 125 thu for a connection of around 20/30 feet across the road from a junchion box, his answer to them is not repeatable.
I for one cannot see all sorted in 4 years, more like forty truth be told.

So… er… guys… what d’you reckon the availability of diesel is going to be in Europe in the coming months? 🙃😎 🙄😜

PS I’ve just read something today about fuel protests currently going on in Dublin and Cork? 🤔🤷‍♀️

Is that the one available by the end of the year with a range of 700 miles, charge to 80% in 3 minutes and cost 20K as you stated in your post Trev?
No thats another one i found today, internet is full of it, but how much is correct we dont know, time will tell Rob, mind you if you wish to buy me one i will test and post you my findings honest. ;)

Army called in as its now out of control, many stations have no juice for days now, if it dont get sorted soon i would carry some jerry cans and keep fuel on board bought in the north.
You will require a spout or flexable funnel.
