If you had a decent OS and browser you could google that and get the answer.Thing i cant get my head round is where the extra power is going to be found if folk charge cars at night at home, surly we would require new cables as thick as a elephants trunk running up every street, or homes with solar panels for summer charging, all this will take many years to get sorted.
But FYI, most EV chargers take the same power as a low powered electric shower, so their not taking that much power, but if there was a problem with supply they automatically drop the charge so they don't overload your supply. People could do a lot more damage to the system if they plugged in a couple of electric fires.
