I haven’t heard of the clock story Cale, are you possibly getting confused with water powered organ at the Abbey itself? The other water powered organ snd still in use, is the church just inside the town gate to the Dukes.Lord Ancrums Wood. Hope Rockster makes a speedy recovery.

Rocky going for a liver scan when his current trauma settle down, along with bloods taken for analysis. Fingers crossed
We are lucky having this beautiful building on our doorstep Cale. I'm still digging for more info re the clock tower, I recall from passing there years ago heading to school, the stables were ruins.I knew I had heard it somewhereView attachment 137138
I shared my sofa with this one for 11 years no autumn leaves just loads of sandGet a cat as you will have more room on the sofa.
Put socks on her.
First night we had Bracken we locked her in the kitchen, she howled all night. Got up in the morning, the bottom inch of the door was missing! Cost us £140 for a new door.

Next night we gave her the run of the house, she slept in the hallway and this became her place of choice for most of her life.
She wasn't allowed on the furniture or beds which she accepted.
The one thing we couldn't train out of her: she was a bugger for jumping into people's cars, car door open she would be in it. Flipping embarrassing if she was wet and muddy, nobody ever took our offer of money to clean up though.
Last year of her life, she just wanted her own space, would sleep under the mh when away and rarely sat with us in the lounge at home.
Best dog I ever had. Only bitch too.
I would only have bitches as they make better pets. Our Roxy would lick the wallpaper till she could scrape it off with her teeth then do the same to the plaster board. When mobile phones got popular she would whip them away and destroy them. Remote controls and headphones. But she was the most obedient and loyal dog we’ve had. Dropped dead with a heart attack while out for a walk at 8year old. Having to carry my best friends body home was horrible.First night we had Bracken we locked her in the kitchen, she howled all night. Got up in the morning, the bottom inch of the door was missing! Looks like you have lots of leaves left to come down yet cal, our trees are almost bare now.
It’s a back road between Castlelaw (Famous for its hill fort and army firing range) to Glencorse.Looks like you have lots of leaves left to come down yet cal, our trees are almost bare now.
Also that looks very similar to our path which many moons ago was a railway line from Chryston to Strathblane. Most of it follows the Galzert water at the foot of our garden. Hasten to add about 30 feet below our garden
Need to look at it on the OS map might be a walk for the futureIt’s a back road between Castlelaw (Famous for its hill fort and army firing range) to Glencorse.
