Strange i watch many,no naughty ones though.
I can also split music and vid cd and just capture the music to pen drive using a prog called hand brake which is on the zorin disc but also got it from repository for lite.
Fact is some folk dont like change or admit windows dont rule the world unless your brainwashed or like to be controlled and spied on every key stroke you make, not for me folks, dinner on the table now.

Microsofts window defender is very good and free, it also works well in tandem with zone alarm,
also good and free.

I used to use Zone alarm many years ago but after 1 update it totally trashed my install so have not touched it since ( I believe it was around the time it had been bought out by another company)

I think that I have heard of this sort of thing about every program on the market at some time.

We can only use whats best for our particular bit of kit and I have not, so far, had major problems with any program
that I have installed over the last 35 years.

Jeez is it really that long ?

I totally agree.
Despite what Mr Soda says I haven't had a virus or any other issues on Windows (7) for about 15 years. On my Linux systems I have several lock-ups and crashes since installing over christmas.
