He has a point. Using the tap you wanted would block the road. Caravanners use aqua rolls. The service point allows you to fill up without blocking the road.

Perfectly reasonable, but badly explained.
There's something about Rules being for the slavish observance by Fools and the guidance of Wise Men [pre Equality Act legislation] :D

The retired football referee, Jackl Taylor, told a lovely story of when he was refereeing a match where the Linesman was making some awful, and peculiar decisions. The Linesman summoned the Ref, and said Player X has just used foul and abusive language to me, telling me to Foxtrot Oscar'. Jack Taylore replied, 'I know exactly how he feels, so please feel free to do so ...' :D

I agree. But in this case it seems reasonable to say please don’t block the road as there are alternative arrangements that won’t inconvenience others. Where he was wrong is in not explaining where they were.

Yes, it was responding to NorfolkNewBoy. A simple mistake in a busy thread. Stop looking for offence where non exists 😂

Many use the lower priced certificated locations only. I have left the CAMC basically because their site fees for members are now too high (IMHO). Nothing at all to do with booking arrangements.

The CCC will do us for the moment offering the flexibility of optional hook up, discounts for over 60’s and advanced booking discount codes, and they too have certificated locations. It feels more like a club than a business.
Ditto, i didn’t renew for the same reason and been a member for at least 12 years, my final straw was a travelodge booking on Brighton seafront costing almost exactly the same but with breakfast included.
