Cannot believe it turned up at Ruby Bay and were alone.

It's such a tricky place, we've been a few times and loved it. But, you can't really book the nice restaurant in case you don't get a parking space, and if you wait until you have managed to get on the aire, it's sometimes too late to get a table at the restaurant.

And of course, you don't have to eat at the restaurant but it's a bit of a highlight for us.

All the aires with limited spaces are , to me , a pain .
Arrive in the evening no spaces , where do you go ?
Easy to understand people parking up in non motorhome spaces

Yes, especially in either summer where sites are full, or winter when they are closed. In places like France there's never a problem - but I'm optimistic that critical mass will be reached at some point.

It’s not an Aire it’s a carpark with motorhome bays. Most Aires you have to book in advance. We are heading for Lochore tomorrow and have booked a place. Never had a problem getting parked in winter, we avoid this place in summer.
