A rare sight!
Praps they knew you were going
All the aires with limited spaces are , to me , a pain .It's such a tricky place, we've been a few times and loved it. But, you can't really book the nice restaurant in case you don't get a parking space, and if you wait until you have managed to get on the aire, it's sometimes too late to get a table at the restaurant.
And of course, you don't have to eat at the restaurant but it's a bit of a highlight for us.
Agreed, not many plan B available around East Neuk, Kings Barns is the same, to few parking bays for MH's.All the aires with limited spaces are , to me , a pain .
Arrive in the evening no spaces , where do you go ?
Easy to understand people parking up in non motorhome spaces

Yes, especially in either summer where sites are full, or winter when they are closed. In places like France there's never a problem - but I'm optimistic that critical mass will be reached at some point. All the aires with limited spaces are , to me , a pain .

And they have the extra plus point of knowing there's a good meal and a glass of something waiting!I agree Allen.
Give me a booked in advance pub stop any day.
We have just walked it to Anstruther no rain great walk fish and chips and no 95 Leven bus back. Not really beach weather. Unless your snuggled up in your warm camper.
We’re still alone BarryIt would be dead funny if now everyone who has seen this photo of Bill on his own with that sea view turns up later and hems him in.
It won't be me though. Hibernating now.![]()
It’s not an Aire it’s a carpark with motorhome bays. Most Aires you have to book in advance. We are heading for Lochore tomorrow and have booked a place. Never had a problem getting parked in winter, we avoid this place in summer. It's such a tricky place, we've been a few times and loved it.
