Have a secure one fitted in my van from day one, cost £15, problem is they only work when you are not there, if you are in the van and a t leaf breaks in with a knife or gun you are sure gonna open the bugger for him.

We had one of these in the motorhome and found that after travelling over a few bumps in the road it would unlock itself,
I have now replaced it with one that is locked and unlocked with a proper key

Bloomin- eck your motorhome must have a hell of a payload to carry a safe that big so as to keep all your valuables safe & secure

I wouldn't entertain a cheap electronic safe, a waste of time and money. put your £25 towards a decent one with just a key lock.

They usually come with a key to override the electronic lock. You just got to remember NOT to keep the key safely INSIDE the safe

We have found a place where it can be bolted in. Nice and poky with no extra room round it and difficult to access, so not much room to get at it with a hammer or crow bar.
I did say it was only to deter opportunists, but everyone likes to tell you different.

To tilt it you would have to tilt the entire sodding van!
