Hi all im looking for some advice please, I have a AFERIY Portable Power Station which is connected to two 175 watt solar panels on the roof, I also have a victron dc to dc Orion charger connected to my van battery so when there is no sun I can use the van to charge the Aferiy, is it possible to have the solar and victron connected to the Aferiy at the same time or will there be a big bang when the sun is out and the van engine is running.

I don't see why not. Presumably you have an MPPT Charge Controller in the system as well? I would think though that you would DC charge the Aferiy indirectly from the alternator via a 12V socket connected to the habitation battery which is being charged by the DC/DC whilst the solar input is managed by the MPPT?

I'm sure others will advise though, don't take my word for it! :)

As long as the two combined sources don't exceed the maximum charge current I'd have thought you'd be ok.
Can you post a link to the destructions?
