Admin's VW Transporter T6 4Motion self build (the outside)

Yes, it will have an 80cm single bed with a domestic mattress as I need my beauty sleep.
Your van looks the dogs danglies matey I'm very good friends with a guy who works at a place that makes mattresses for this type of stuff. If you haven't already sorted it I reckon I could get you a discount, he owes me a few favours www.mybespokemattress.com Let me know I'd be more than happy to ask.

I was just reading on a Land Rover forum Phil that a ladder obscuring a number plate is an MOT failure and an on the spot fine.

Might be worth looking into and maybe swap sides for the ladder and spare wheel? You could of course move the number plate but then the recess and light wouldn't look right.

Definitely a Mot fail. I’ve seen ladders that have a large aperture where the number plate is so not obscured.

On the way home from Hereford you drove past me, your van does have a good 'road presence'

Once the VBAir Suspension is installed it will be 30mm taller and I will be able to take it higher in off road mode.

The plate can be read from directly behind the vehicle, but I intend to install another plate higher on the roof.
