7 days then off

were also off to Goa in 3 weeks, fly from manchester 6th of january for 2 weeks
cheers

We are off to Goa on the 5th of Jan and return on the 3rd of April. It is our yearly ritual since we retired. We hit the south side which is a lot more peaceful that the North. If ever you are down our way in a place called Benaulim, which is next door to Colva beach, pop in at the Haawai beach hut. The North side are for the party goers and the Russians have the upper hand there, that is Calangute, Anjuna. It is still nice but I prefer the peace and quiet. Have fun and enjoy yourself.

From East of Faro.

We are down here til after Easter.

If you need any help or advice. Just pm us .

Have a great trip down, it warms up south of a line from Madrid to Lisbon.

All the best .

First beach I hit in Goa was indeed Colva, are the two palm trees as you go on to beach by little bridge still there?..bet not that was around 1989
Are the beach huts, all still there? and is Garlic Shark still on the menu.? :cool1: .

Going to be a while before I do it again, as said before in earlier post, spent ten years doing the motorcycle, touring, beach bit, love and Hate moments, But Thats India, And i would not have missed it for the all the tea in China, have a great Christmas, and if we do get that way, well look you up

We plan to be in Dover on the 22nd to catch the Ferry for a two month trip, we haven't booked yet and will not travel too far South for the first few weeks because I am waiting for some results but a short break and having to come back is better than sitting here, anyway I am tight and I don't want to waste the ACSI card and France Passion I haven't used yet

Hi, we are boarding ferry at 9.45 am, should be on the esplande night before if we can park, should be easy to spot, scrufy old fart, grey beard, Told her to smarten up and shave :lol-053::lol-053:

And Grey transit to match, maybe well see you there,

if not, have a good christmas we will be travling slowish but longish, via abberville, rouen, Le Mans, bordeux, route etc, no tolls im tight as well :lol-053::lol-053::lol-053: But also no hurry, Transit does better on fuel, at 45/50 than 55/65.. letting the scenery slide buy  Tony and Teresa

Gaslow system is a must got to recomend it to any one, cost me just short of £20 to fill it, way way cheaper than seperate bottles,
Solar panels working well even in this crap weather, Bike loaded, on trailer, ready for the off.

still chucking stuff in and out of the camper, but it will sort it self out on the way, between bins, skips and donations to others.:rolleyes2:

Lots of french style aires on www.cas.comaxa.com Google "camper contact" and "campingcarportugal "

Campsites mainly on the coast . Relaxing one at Cabanas, east of Tavira. They get busier and more expensive west of Faro. Massive one at Albufira... If you like Benidorm lifestyle !

You will meet expert wildcampers for advice when you get here.

Here is the picture of that bridge you mentioned. I am standing right by the very tree in the picture. It has not changed much since your last visit. Only the prices have gone up but still dirt cheap Exchange rate at the moment is £1=Rs100. Not bad. Brings back memories for you.☺☺☺
