  1. Electric Sprinter H2 L2

Going to be a very expensive mistake! Unless he’s in a position to claim vat & tax back on it for a business - then it won’t be quite such a blow.
  2. An insurance company from hell, avoid at all cost.

Another vote for Comfort here. We’ve been with them for many years - if you ring them very helpful and nothing is too much bother. Prices go up a little each year but not exorbitantly so. 5* We had to claim a few years back. In Spain on a Saturday evening and fiesta time - very quickly sorted out.
  3. Sleeping bags

    Thanks - they’re the ones.
  4. Sleeping bags

Can anyone remember the name of the ‘versatile sleeping bags’ that were popular a few years back. We’ve swapped to a camper and I think sleeping bags will be a better option than loose bedding. They’ve got to be extra warm for me and XXL for John 😀
  5. Brit STops

I just got mine refunded. I just logged in to site left message to say I hadn’t been sent a reminder subscription was due. I did not wish to renew and requested a refund. Chat was a bit first - then request human chat - left message and money was refunded about 24 hours later. I must admit I...

  7. French playing 90 day rule games.?

It may be speculation- but this can be a reality. The rules are in place already - it’s just whether the French enforce them or not. Hence my comment- the Santander or Rotterdam Ferries will start to be appealing. The Spanish have already said they will still want the UK tourists.
  8. French playing 90 day rule games.?

No it’s not. If you look on the heading I posted I put a ? at the end - I was wondering if this had happened to anyone on here. The amount of people this could happen to is minimal and probably the ones it could happen to will find out as they travel back when the weather improves. I hope...
  9. French playing 90 day rule games.?

My friend’s statement was that the French have already taken it into their heads to start enforcing a rule that is already there. If they are, I’m guessing there aren’t that many Brits who will be coming home yet after spending more than 3 months out of UK. If it’s happening complaints will...
  10. French playing 90 day rule games.?

I hope you’re all correct - time will tell.
  11. French playing 90 day rule games.?

That’s what my friend said - they’re now enforcing the 90 day rule. At least now I’m aware and it’s a gamble. if they’re doing this it certainly puts a new slant on the cost of Santander or Rotterdam crossings.
  12. French playing 90 day rule games.?

I agree seems wrong but it wouldn’t surprise me if it happens. A bit like them not changing a lot of the speed signs when they changed the speed limits.
  13. French playing 90 day rule games.?

I’ve just had message from a friend who spends a lot of time in Spain ie more than 90 days at a time. ‘The French are playing stupid but costly games at french ports, fining Brits returning to UK, for staying more than 90 days in EU, even tho we are still in Europe. Fines of 265 euros per...
  14. Spain/Portugal where are you?

If you head a few miles south on N340 coast road there’s a Repsol garage on the right hand side of road (not the one on the left just outside Torrox). There’s a laundrette on forecourt as well. There’s also a lorry wash place so you can give mh a bit of a once over if you get into a bit of a...

It depends what you want to do with WiFi. We wanted to know how far it would go. OH was pleased. We used to go to cafes McDonalds etc and use free WiFi to download but by the time you’ve had a coffee or 3, it’s surprising how quickly that adds up - plus it was getting more difficult to bypass...
