    Delamination

That's what I did. But new layer of vinyl then carpet. If you completely cover area you plan to drill with masking tape, it makes removing the expanded resin over flow a lot easier

    Vaccine

As long as the makers have immunity from prosecution, I'll pass. I was on a study in a drug research facility, Simbec, when they discovered Viagra. It was being tested as a blood thinning drug. The nurse came in to do morning checks , first check was blood pressure standing. First subject 'sorry...

    Split Charger ?

Looks more like a temp sensor for battery or state of charge indicator . Maybe wrong but there doesn't look like enough supply wires to be split charge

    Solar panels

You also need to have the battery capacity to store the extra harvested energy. If you have 150W solar and 100Ah battery and add 300W solar, you'll have 450W solar charging 100Ah. So you'd need to balance harvesting with storage to make it worthwhile.

    Electrikery!

Pure sine wave is more expensive, but won't have any issues running whatever you choose. Modified sine causes issues with some electronic gizmos

Motor has to be 250w for it to be classed as a pedalec. Any more it's classed as a motorized vehicle

    Just bought one of these.....

We have a couple of these, only 16kg with batteries off, so will go on bike rack. Easy 35 mile range, further with low assist level. Impossible to puncture, so no need to carry pump, tube or patches. 😁

    Mot during lockdown

In Wales, I had booked MOT two weeks in advance. We went into local lockdown The Monday of the appointment. Phoned garage to ask if they would accept van for test, they had no problem at all. Ring and ask, it could save a wasted trip.

    Future value of your motorhome.

Maybe LPG conversion will be the way to go, or a usable bio diesel may become available. But away my van will be nigh on 30 years old so will be worthless by then anyway.

Surely a manual flush has linkages and plunger seals to go wrong too. Have seen manual flush in port-a-loo's, amount of water was fine but felt like changing gear on a series one.

    Mpg

The only one I've tried was the Lucas additive, was ok, but went back to Archoil D-max. Not sure about extra MPG but emissions went down and stayed down on MOT's, and the engine runs a lot smoother. No CAT, DPF or EGR on mine using for lubricity and injector cleaning.

    Salutary tale

VW very overrated. All marques will rot if not looked after. As a side note my 15 year old fiat passed MOT yesterday with no advisories. Always pre MOT underside for any rust spots, floor rot and grease linkages. It's the way I was brought up, you've paid good money, look after it. Look after...
