Mines is registered as a motorcaravan, just got it done before they tightened up on re registration. My son is half way through his conversion, but got a huge quote from A flux, over £1000, seems to be getting harder to get insured while converting.

Does anyone know if AIB cover self build vans. Im insured with AIB insurance on my self build motorhome. I recommended that my son , who is in the process of converting a Peugeot boxer get a quote for his insurance from them. They told him that they don’t cover self builds! I am now wondering...

I have a 2011 maxi and it seems that the two axle weights add up to 4500kg, what baffles me is that the first number is only 3500kg!!

They opened the primary schools here last week for the younger kids. Three days later they have closed two and are contact tracing all the families from three classes!!

What I think is that if I stay where there are no charges then I would tidy up by litter picking, as a sign of gratitude for my stay. If I had to pay a fee to stay then I would only take my own litter away with me.
