Hi all
I have installed a Victorian smartshunt in my elddis 115.
It has 2 x 110ah batteries and the shunt is on the 2nd battery -ve and all the negatives now come off the shunt.
I thought it was working but sitting here now it shows no volts, no amps being used - although we have the tv, lights and heater blower running.
the only think I can this is it’s because we are on hookup, but thought it would read something. Pic attached
Any help appreciated
Rich

Firstly, this is the kind of info you should expect to see in everyday use. This is a SmartShunt I just took a screenshot off and pretty well every single field should - and does - have a value in it ...

You are right in thinking Hookup will change what you might see - this is my Motorhome which is on Hookup - so quite close to yours in fact, but the chance of having zero current is pretty remote.

The only thing I can imagine is that there are no loads or charge whatsoever on that battery, which is very strange given the battery voltage shown would only be there when a charger is active on that battery.
Disconnect the EHU and see if the voltage shown goes down. Take a photo of the setup and post it up.
Something is quite odd - it could be something simple but not sure what. I wonder if the elddis system disconnects the battery from the load when on EHU and the 12V is supplied by the Charger (some systems do this) but even then I would still expect a bit of current 'noise' to the battery from the charger (unless the charger is connected to the battery side of the shunt rather than the load side - in that case, any charging current would not show up).

I see long periods of 0A net when on hookup, it just depends on your charger I guess. Just pull your hookup plug out and see what it says.
