It's clearly a clever piece of technology designed to make loads of money. That's for sure.

Agreed, but it's easy to lose concentration or be momentarily distracted and one's speed can easily creep up without noticing. Of course as soon as you realise you slow back down, but that's all it takes to get a fine and endorsement. It will definitely put a focus on each journey.

Depends which way your heading. We usually aim for the Roman Spa Baths at Dorres. Sulphurous spring water comes directly out of the ground and into the baths at 38 degrees. You can wildcamp in the car park for the baths. It costs under 5 euros for entry to the spa pools but you can stay all day...
