Does this affect any of you

I have been offered intrest free cridit for my eye operation in a few weeks time, cost £5100, i have £1600 under the floor boards which im putting up front to reduce the payments, so £50 a week for 18 mths, i may put more down if i sell some more marine engines. ;)

I took the interest free option to pay over 10 months when I had my cataract done a couple of years ago. Made sense as it was interest free.

We recently bought 2 electric bikes from Halfords and again, they offered interest free over 12 months so we took them up on it. I'd much rather my savings being in my account getting interest if they want to give me interest free payments.

Why are you not having this done by the NHS, Trev?

Truth is its not interest free, the produck you are buying has money added to price which is then handed to the loan Co, there is no such thing as a free ride in life. ;)

Truth is that it is interest free if the total amount you pay is the same regardless of whether you take credit or not.

If you could get a discount for cash then it isn't interest free.

All my credit card spending is interest free because I pay in full each month.

It is interest free Trev, it's just an incentive to attract your custom.

The only way you could lose out is possibly through the inability to haggle the price down.
