FLAT LEISURE BATTERY
Hi,
Bought a new 2016 4 Berth Burstner Ixeo IT 726G last Mach.
Been having trouble with the leisure battery since we first got the van.
Took the van down to the dealership, asked then to test battery as some thing is
draining the power out. Tested the battery informed us that nothing is taking a charge out of the battery. But the leisure battery could be faulty the dealer replaced the battery under the warranty. That took 3 months to get the new battery installed.
New battery flat as a pancake in the first week, back down to the dealership.
FOUR HOURS later the head auto ( TECHNICIAN ) said that he had found the fault.
There was a fault in the wiring to the electric step for the side door as we did not have a step fitted to the motorhome he had just taking out the fuse, job done and sorted.
I wish, the fuse was for the *CD Player & satnav.
Head TECHNICIAN ) then decided that it is a faulty relay switch to the cd player, and will be replaced under warranty.
Two months later, we have to phone them up to ask what is happening about the relay switch.
Burstner head office, had emailed the dealership to inform them that the drain on the leisure battery is normal happens on all Burstner motorhomes.
All Burstner motorhomes ( IS THIS NORMAL CAN THIS BE TRUE )
How come we have not read about this on any motorhome forums.
Would very much like to hear some views on this.
