Who's got a plan for this year?

We formulated our plan for this year this evening over some home made chicken parmesan gougons. It's later than you think!

Cruise control is being fitted next weekend by mer-tech of Hull. Can't wait!
Drive Hugo to Croatia starting early April through Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, NE Italy and Slovenia until mid/end June.
Drive Hugo to the boat via the Mediterranean coast taking in Venice, Monaco, Nice and Marseille arriving Montpellier mid July.
Spend school holidays on the boat fending off the freeloaders...:mad1:
Drive Hugo to Benidorm in late September and stay in Camping Raco until end October.
Renting this nice apartment for three months: Holiday Apartment Rental with shared pool and beach/lake nearby - just finalising it this weekend

My plan is to wait for my plan to formalize, but when it does arrive it will be a cunning one

We once had a plan ,

It was a great plan, researched, costed,, discussed at length and we were confident. It was for 3 years.

Item 1 was to buy a motorhome .

That was 16 years ago..... We never got round to item 2 of our great plan .

I think I am going up to Sao Bras tomorrow ......... But .....?

We've never had a REAL plan in the past, more of an outline really! The only bit we will be committed to is the apartment rental, everything before that is fluid: hopefully composed of lots of inexpensive gin...
 
Arrived back home today. Spending a month here sorting out van/house insurance, van service and over to Conway for a new charger unit. End of March over to France to see our daughter in St Etienne and celebrate our grandson's 18th Birthday. Then a meander through France and Italy, down to Ancona for ferry to Igoumenitsa on the 22nd April and a couple of months wandering around Greece. Back overland for the end of the summer then off again in September - France, Spain,Portugal and winter back at Bolnuevo.
One thing we're not doing is the Bay of Biscay this time next year!!

Looks like an excellent plan. Good luck driving Hugo through Monaco, motorhomes are really welcome there!!

We were delayed 48hrs due to bad weather so we guessed the crossing might be a bit "bumpy". Sure enough, it was. The only thing I could keep down was vodka and coke :) (and I hate vodka and coke!)

Were up to Scotland/Northumberland in March, Cornwall April, Lincolnshire in May, West Mersea then onto Wales in June, then Poland late June/July, Lincolnshire in July, Romania in September, that's just the things booked so far. :wave: Hoping to go walking/tent wild camping sometime during nice weather, and hopefully to get to some WC meets, another trip to St Hilaire may also be on the cards, but not sure about that yet, and also want to book in for one or two Park Resort stays, but not during busy school holiday times. Would be a good place for a meet? they do group bookings apparently. It's gonna be a busy year for us, and now we don't have to rush back for mum we can stay away for longer.
 
we had a plan ,that took a lot of thought and tweaking. then life came along and changed it ! instead of looking south, it's now east ! i don't give a monkey's as long as it's interesting !

We are also leaving these sunny shores in April to drive to Croatia via Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, NE Italy and Slovenia until mid June.

We will be staying at camping Stobrec near Split. 43.504083,16.526635

The only difference is that we are stopping for a day in Belgium.
As its the two hundredth anniversary of Abba winning the Eurovision song contest with Waterloo we will be visiting the Wellington museum then the Lion mount site before a night stop near Arlon.

I think Wellington was probably Abbas manager, but I am not sure. 50.717685,4.39798
