Hi were heading for France soon going through the tunnel and going down the night b4 anybody know where we can park for the night :help:
We always plan to get to the tunnel on the day we are travelling with about 4 to 6 hours before our booke time & are usually put straight onto the next available crossing. Much easier to find somewhere the other side of the channel, places such as the aire at Wissant is less than half hours drive.
There was somebody in the Overnight Stops for Members section near to the tunnel http://www.wildcamping.co.uk/forums...mbers/18614-overnight-stop-kent-near-m20.html

Hi
I think I am right in saying any vehicle with a LPG tank can't travel on the tunnel and hence I can't use the tunnel

So do we, it cost us £27 one way via the Caravan Club. We shall book on line with them nearer our return time to get the best deal. This way there are no hefty cancellation charges if you want to change your return journey times.Yep we stay right on the seafront at Dover about 10 mins from the tunnel and less for the ferry....and its free!
Near to the Premier Inn where you can have a beer if you wish or if you cross the road there is a good Indian Restaurant nearby.. nom nom nom :danger::banana:
