Scottish Water

Often in Ireland you encounter people who appear to be English, but frequently although born and raised in England, they have Irish parent(s) and have decided to relocate to Ireland. Particularly on the back of the Celtic tiger boom.
I wonder if some of the Scottish blowi-ins are similar. You only have to look at the number of members on here who declare Irish heritage, useful for the passport to see how it can happen. Not so obvious in Scotland as they don't have an EU passport.
Of course it could simply be the case that said English have had enough of an increasingly crowded and changing homeland and moved to a perceived better quality of life.

Many of the home schooling crowd from england have moved here, this is because there sale of home in england has bought a house here with a lot of money left over, plus not so crowded and a slower pace of life, and home schooling is allowed here.
We as a group get into many places at below half price, emerald park springs to mind along with many forest schools and other places.
