My flusher seens to be working intermittently, one minute press and hold button and flushes normally then next time nothing?

Probably the switch has become unreliable.
I doubt if its possible to clean it. The best thing is just replace it.

I will do over weekend, sometimes works fine then other times doesnt, intermittent.

The flush in mine has started leaking. I think it's a pipe connection on the solenoid valve. An easy fix, but a nightmare to get to.
So I've blocked off the water feed to the flush. Yes, there is no flush now, but that's no bad thing. A hand spray bottle was only 99p in IKEA.

Oddly my flush pump suddenly decided to pack up when I was at @MERL s earlier last year. We thought it was a fuse I think but it wasn't. The 12v power just wasn't getting to it and in the end Merl re-routed it which was a right PIA for him.

I had a similar problem in 2024 and again at the start of my current trip. In 2024, on advice from a friend who advised of the difficult access, I threw money at the problem and replaced the solenoid valve and the vacuum breaker, which cured the problem. This year, I was unable to find a solenoid valve on Amazon France that could be delivered to a locker, so went for the vacuum breaker only and cured the problem. It is difficult to be certain, but the old vacuum breaker may have developed splits along the seam joining the two parts.

I bought a £1.99 solenoid valve on the Slow Boat. It seemed to work OK, but the cheap price spooked me, so a bought a spare. Nearly ten years later, that spare valve is still in the drawer.
The vacuum breaker was a bit of a pig to get to clip into place, as I recall, but I didn't really look at it too carefully.
I suspect that frost has cracked something upstream of the solenoid valve. Isn't the vacuum breaker on the toilet side of the solenoid valve?
I just don't fancy the hassle of refitting the swivel pan, so the water supply to the flush is isolated for the time being.
Interesting how much longer the cassette takes to fill with no flush at all.
