Roaming in the EU

Yes I was looking at the UK
For France I think Reglo is the best one but all of them limit roaming now.
I've always been happy with Réglo Mobile. This would (from memory) be cheaper, but an eSIM is not an option for my MiFi or router.

As far as I can tell Tesco mobile seems to be the only UK one offering 100gb for £30 a month you can use anywhere but there is some caveat about it being available into 2026 like they might cancel it or reduce it when they feel like it. After that there are a few providers like Orange or Tiekom offering EU wide sims but they shoot up in price. Otherwise its just buying a sim for each country.

Pretty sure they confirmed no change for 2026 fairly recently

No I got the orange esim as back up . Really just in case Tesco thought I was using more than I should.
Over the piece not a huge expense

I Could get one Orange E sim for one phone and a Tesco one for the other. Cover all bases, It adds up though. That would be well north of £200 for our 90 days.

I have been using movistar in Spain.
Originally got the SIM last October and recharged it on line this January.
20€ for 300gb 28 days.

It said works in other EU countries but I can't find a limit or fair use allowance

£3 for 100gb in uk including 30gb eu on a rolling 30 day contract.
.might just buy a couple of these if anyone knows if the start date starts when you buy them or insert them..me and small print struggle a bit.
Runs on Vodafone is a bonus.

Don't know but their fair usage policy is here. For a 90 day trip to Europe would you get away with it? It makes out that its assessed over 120 days so maybe, maybe not. I suspect the problem will be if you buy say 3 I bet they all have to be activated in the UK before you use them abroad. Thats said they are so cheap it might be an option.

Fair usage policy for roaming in the EU

The Roam-like home scheme is designed for customers who primarily live in the UK and make short trips to other European destinations. To safeguard against abuse, if your roaming usage is greater than your usage in the UK over any continuous 120-day period, you will be subject to a surcharge of 0.20p/MB (equivalent to £2/GB) for data, 0.04p/sec (equivalent to 2.4p/min) for outgoing calls, 0.01p/sec (equivalent to 0.6p/min) for incoming calls and 0.8p for sending an SMS. The surcharge is deducted from your pay-as-you-go (PAYG) allowance. You will need to top-up if you don't have any pay-as-you-go (PAYG) credit on your account. Similarly, all our plans and unlimited allowances are subject to fair usage policy - click here to know more.
